Render Painting & Coating in Staffordshire
Breathable masonry coatings and full-system paint applications over existing render.
Staffordshire property owners come to us for render painting & coating for one of two reasons: something has failed, or the house looks tired.
Across Staffordshire, Victorian terraces, Potteries housing and extensive postwar estates dominates, and render repair on terraced housing and frost damage in the Staffordshire Moorlands is what we are called out to most often. With moderate rainfall with exposed moorland to the north, specification matters more in this part of the country than a national price list suggests.
Local factor. The moorlands around leek sit high and cold, and specifications suited to stoke can fail on the same job a few miles north.
Is render painting & coating right for a Staffordshire property?
Choose painting when the render is structurally sound and you want a colour change or refresh without the cost of a full re-render.
That decision gets made at the survey, not on the phone. We will tell you plainly if a different system would serve the building better — including when a cheaper one would.

FAQs
Render Painting & Coating in Staffordshire — questions
How long does masonry paint last?
A good breathable system on properly prepared render typically gives ten to fifteen years. Cheap paint on unprepared render can start failing within two.
How much does rendering cost?
It is priced by the square metre and depends on the system, the condition of the walls and access. Our guide-price tool gives an indicative range in about a minute, and the survey turns that into a fixed written quote.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. Every job carries our workmanship guarantee, and where a full manufacturer-specified system is installed you also get the system warranty on top.
What time of year is best for rendering?
Spring through autumn is ideal. Render should not be applied in frost or in very hot direct sun, so winter work needs protection and settled conditions.
Can you render over existing render?
Sometimes, if the existing coat is completely sound and well-bonded. We hammer-test it first. Anything hollow has to come off, because covering failure just hides it.
Are you insured?
Yes — full public liability cover, and we can send the certificate before we start. We are happy to provide RAMS for commercial and contractor work.
